Notice:
SC EMPORIUM SRL complies with the provisions of Regulation No. 2023/1542 on batteries and waste batteries. The responsibility for the collection, recovery, and recycling of batteries has been transferred to the collective organization RLG REBAT. SC EMPORIUM SRL accepts free of charge at its headquarters waste portable batteries and accumulators in accordance with Regulation, Article 74. Based on the contract, RLG REBAT takes over all waste batteries and accumulators collected through the SC EMPORIUM SRL offices, ensuring proper transport and recycling.

*** Information for users of batteries and accumulators Article 74, paragraphs (1) and (2) of EU Regulation 2023/1542
• Waste batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste but must be collected separately (SC EMPORIUM SRL collects WEEE and used batteries from its customers).
• Prevent battery waste generation by encouraging sustainable practices such as:
- Use rechargeable batteries (portable accumulators);
- Buy only what you need;
- Extend battery life through proper charging – avoid overcharging or complete discharging;
- Turn off devices when not in use – this prolongs battery life and delays replacement;
- Choose batteries from companies that promote recycling, take-back programs, and use recycled materials in production;
- Never throw batteries in the trash bin; always take them to special collection points.
• Batteries and accumulators marked with the symbol below must be collected separately and not mixed with household waste:
recycle bin
• Batteries contain hazardous materials such as lead, cadmium, mercury, lithium. If released into the environment, they pollute soil and water. That is why used batteries must not be discarded uncontrolled but only in designated collection points. DO NOT dispose of batteries with household waste!
• Recycling helps recover valuable and rare materials such as nickel, cobalt, lithium.
• Used batteries are harmful and non-biodegradable. Do not store batteries in unsupervised areas (next to garbage chutes or in public spaces). They are not only an environmental hazard but may also be subject to improper disposal, causing sometimes incalculable consequences for human health.
• Do not burn batteries, as they cannot be used for energy recovery by the end-user.
• Store batteries in a dry, cool place, away from flammable materials.
• Keep used batteries out of the reach of children and animals, and store them safely.
• Recycle with us! At SC EMPORIUM you can hand in any type of used portable batteries or accumulators (except car batteries).
• Try to set an example at home, on the street, and at work:
- collect plastic and paper separately and place them only in the special containers around your home or in shops; use as few plastic bags as possible (they degrade in several hundred years). The same can happen with hazardous substances contained in electrical equipment, batteries, and accumulators that negligently end up in soil, water, or air.
• Dispose of WEEE and all types of batteries only at designated collection points.
